This used to be my workshop in the early 2002 under the previous owner Van Der Horst before it was sold to Wartsila. Disappointing experience.

I heard of a prototype ship where they tested all Wärtsila devices in series and during voyage the fuel tank was actually filling up as the savings turned out to be slightly higher than the actual consumption. It was severe as they had to stop in the middle of the ocean to call a tanker because their fuel tanks would have overflown.

The Fan design Is not good. The fans should be placed on the sides which will intake cold air, Currently These fans are pushing hot air back to container. Also what about rains entering the container from top side ?
